TF-241: Halogen-Free Intumescent Flame Retardant for Polypropylene (PP)
Product Overview
TF-241 is an advanced halogen-free, environmentally friendly flame retardant specifically designed for polyolefins, including homopolymer PP (PP-H) and copolymer PP (PP-B). Comprising acid source, gas source, and carbon source, TF-241 achieves superior flame retardancy through an intumescent char-forming mechanism. With a loading of 22%, PP compounds incorporating TF-241 meet stringent flammability standards, including UL94 V-0 (3.0mm) and GWIT 960°C, while maintaining excellent mechanical properties.
Key Features
- Halogen-Free & Eco-Friendly: No heavy metals or hazardous substances.
- High Efficiency: Low smoke emission, outstanding water resistance, and thermal stability.
- Versatile Compatibility: Optimized for PP-H and PP-B applications.
- Balanced Performance: Preserves mechanical strength and processability.
